Description

This course was developed by the EMMA4EU Erasmus + Project (Innovation Alliance for Training Programmes for Deforestation-Free Supply Chains in Europe, https://www.emma4eu.eu/). It is designed to provide participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively manage deforestation-free supply chains (DFSC). It will address the changes mandated by the EUDR, requiring EU market companies to implement due diligence procedures to ensure raw materials and forest-risk commodities (FRCs) are free from deforestation. 

Duration: 125 hours (March-May, 2025)

Certification: 6 ECTS

Target groups: Students with a master’s degree who seek specialisation in deforestation-free supply chain management; professionals in supply chain management.

Deadline: The deadline for applications is February 18th at 12:30 PM CET. The selection committee will carefully review applications based on the course requirements. Successful applicants will be notified by February 21st. Classes will begin on March 3rd.

Course fees: Pre-enrollment Fee - a non-refundable fee of €30 is required to cover administrative costs during the application process. Course Fee -  the additional course fee is €542,5.Students from partner universities of EMMA4EU (University of Padova, University of Wageningen, Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, Copenhagen Business School and Makerere University) are exempt from paying the additional course fee. They will have to pay a small fee of €22,50 for administrative cover.
