By spotlighting recent global policy achievements, showcasing effective national and regional strategies, and sharing proven practices, the session will provide actionable insights to shape international discussions and strengthen the forest sector's pivotal role in advancing the broader bioeconomy agenda. 
 

Overview

  1. Overview of what forest-based bioeconomy approaches are: Learn from examples of initiatives, policies, regulations and institutional frameworks that have scaled sustainable forest product production and consumption while addressing challenges and fostering innovation.  
  2. Actionable strategies for policy integration: Gain practical insights into creating enabling conditions for cross-sector collaboration and stakeholder inclusion, and integrating forest-based bioeconomy considerations into broader policy landscapes and sustainability frameworks.  
  3. Stakeholder alignment: Identify shared priorities and opportunities for partnerships to accelerate sustainable forest-based bioeconomy approaches globally.
