The French and New Zealand forestry sectors face similar challenges, including adapting to climate change and managing invasive pests. With high-quality research and innovation capabilities, and industries committed to addressing challenges of the future, France and New Zealand are well placed to develop collaborative responses.

Targeting the French and New Zealand forestry industries and institutions, this webinar, organised by the Embassy of France to New Zealand and by Scion, aims at taking stock of research, innovation and operational solutions to address climate change and biosecurity issues in forestry, and foster further collaboration, development and adoption of these solutions.

This event is co-organized by the IEFC, the IUFRO Task Force “Resilient Planted Forest Serving Society & Bioeconomy”, the EFI Research Network on Planted Forests, SCION and French embassy in New-Zealand.
