Kicking off the year 2025, IUFRO is proud to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website, now live at https://www.iufro.org/. This comprehensive update marks a significant step forward in supporting forest science and fostering global collaboration across the IUFRO network.
The revamped website is designed to meet the evolving needs of the IUFRO network and provides a modern, streamlined platform that improves access to information, resources, and opportunities for collaboration.

The IUFRO Headquarters team has been working on planning and developing the new knowledge and information system for two years, starting even earlier with a review of the previous system. With the support of technical experts and a development company, the team created a system specifically designed for the IUFRO network.
The launch of the new IUFRO website marks the beginning of a novel way of engaging in IUFRO. In a next step, new features and exclusive benefits for IUFRO Members and Officeholders will be added, accessible through a personalized login area.
