Description
The IUFRO LA 2023 event, organized by IUFRO and Embrapa Forestry, brought together experts from various fields to discuss initiatives that promote resilient landscapes for the benefit of people and nature. With a hybrid format, we connected over 300 participants, from policymakers to rural communities, through engaging panel discussions, paper presentations, and networking opportunities. The opening plenary session held on October 17th, 2023, presented results of the SW4SW Regional Dialogue in Latin America and the Carribean, which were elaborated in a panel discussion including high-level representatives, scientists, and representatives of diverse stakeholders. This event is part of the project “Wood for Globe”.
