This briefing note emphasizes the role of wood as a renewable, climate-neutral resource vital for promoting circular and resilient economies. The briefing focuses on two main areas: enhancing the use of wood in the construction sector and expanding the application of wood fiber in the textile, packaging, and construction industries. The recommendations call for policy frameworks that facilitate sustainable wood use while addressing potential trade-offs to ensure balanced and informed decision-making. This document is part of the project “Wood for Globe”.
