Ellyn Damayanti

Ellyn Kathalina Damayanti is a certified professional engineer in forestry registered in Indonesia and ASEAN with more than 20 years of experience. Her background is in forest resources conservation and by further utilizing participatory approaches, she supports communities, local governments, and non-governmental organizations with project development and planning, policy analysis, and sustainable financing in ways that are aligned with sustainability standards for ecosystem management and climate change mitigation, and with respect to environmental and social safeguards. She contributed to a wide range of sub-national, national, regional and international level projects, through research, capacity building and technical assistance for project planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, evaluation, and validation. Her work so far has covered 14 countries across regions of South Asia, Southeast Asia, Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS), East Asia, and Africa. In her spare time, she reviews manuscripts from national and international scientific journals.
