About the Working Party

The IUFRO Seed Physiology and Technology Working Group (WG 2.09.03) is a discussion forum and working party comprising seed scientists world-wide. Read more about the History of the Unit.

The main aims are to:

  • Provide a forum for discussion of forest tree seed problems and their solutions in both temperate and tropical forests; and
  • Exchange information on forest tree seed physiology, particularly relating to seed dormancy and seed technology (including processing, stratification, storage and testing).
